Privacy Policy
HoneyGF is a place for conversations you might not have anywhere else. That makes privacy the whole point, not a footnote — so this page is written to be read rather than skimmed past.
Information we collect
People tell their HoneyGF character about their week, their job hunt, their family. Some of that is personal, and you deserve to know what happens to it. The information we handle generally falls into four groups.
- Information you give us. Your email address and password when you create an account, plus anything you choose to add to a character: a name, a look, a personality, a backstory, a voice.
- Information you create by using HoneyGF. The messages you send and receive, the photos, clips and calls you ask for, and the details you ask your character to remember.
- Information collected automatically. Technical basics such as device type, browser, an approximate location derived from your IP address, and error and security logs.
- Information from payment providers. If you take a paid plan, our payment provider tells us whether a payment succeeded and which plan it covered. Card details are handled by that provider, not by us.
Check this list before you rely on it. The exact fields we collect have not been finalized, so treat anything that matters to you as something to confirm with us first.
How we use information
We use information to run HoneyGF and to keep it safe. In practice that means:
- Generating the replies, photos, clips and voice you ask for, and keeping your character consistent between all of them.
- Remembering what you have told her, so a conversation continues instead of restarting.
- Keeping your account secure, detecting abuse, and enforcing our Terms of Service.
- Answering support requests and telling you about changes to the service.
- Understanding which parts of HoneyGF work and which do not, so we can improve them.
- Meeting legal obligations, including responding to a valid legal request.
Advertising and analytics uses are not settled yet. Whether HoneyGF will use advertising or third-party analytics, and what that would mean for your data, is still being decided. When it is decided, this section will say so plainly. In the meantime, if you cannot find a practice described here, ask us rather than assuming it does not happen — support@honeygfai.com.
Where we rely on your consent for something, you can withdraw that consent at any time. The Your rights and choices section below explains how.
AI conversations and memory
Your messages are processed to generate a reply. HoneyGF also keeps a memory for each character — the names, plans and preferences you have mentioned — so she can bring them up weeks later. That memory belongs to your account, and you are the one who controls it.
- You can review what a character remembers and clear any part of it.
- Clearing memory and deleting message history are separate actions, because the two are stored separately.
- AI systems are involved at every step, and their output can be wrong, out of date or unexpected. Treat it as entertainment, not as facts or advice.
- Whether conversations are ever reviewed by a person, under what safeguards, and for how long, has not been decided yet. Before launch, this section will state it plainly — check it before sharing something you would rather keep to yourself.
The FAQ explains how memory works in day-to-day terms, including how to review and clear it.
Cookies and similar technologies
HoneyGF uses cookies and similar browser storage for a few practical jobs:
- Strictly necessary. Keeping you signed in, remembering which tab you are on, and protecting the site against abuse. These cannot be switched off without breaking parts of the service.
- Preferences. Remembering settings such as a character you were part-way through creating.
- Analytics and advertising. Not confirmed. If we add these, each cookie will be listed here with its name, purpose and lifetime, and any non-essential cookie will wait for your choice before it is set.
Most browsers let you block or delete cookies, and you can usually do it per site. Blocking the strictly necessary ones will stop parts of HoneyGF from working — you will not stay signed in, for example.
Sharing and disclosure
We do not hand your information to whoever asks for it. In general, information is shared only in these situations:
- Service providers. Companies that help us run HoneyGF — hosting, payments, security, and the AI systems that generate replies and media. They act on our instructions and are not free to use your information for their own purposes.
- Legal reasons. Where the law requires it, or where we need to protect the rights, safety or property of our users or of HoneyGF.
- A change of ownership. If HoneyGF is sold or merged, information may transfer as part of that deal. This policy would continue to apply to it until it is replaced.
- At your direction. When you ask us to share something, or agree to it.
The list of providers is not final, which is why none are named here. Ask us for the current list before you rely on this section.
Your rights and choices
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:
- Ask what we hold about you, and receive a copy of it.
- Correct information that is wrong or incomplete.
- Delete your account and the information inside it.
- Export your conversations in a portable format.
- Object to or restrict certain uses, and withdraw consent where consent is what we rely on.
- Turn off marketing messages without losing essential service messages.
To use any of these, email support@honeygfai.com from the address on your account and tell us what you would like us to do. We may need to confirm who you are before we act, and how quickly we can respond depends on the law that applies to you. If you are not satisfied with our answer, you may be able to complain to the data protection regulator in your country.
Data security
We protect information with a mix of technical and organisational measures, including encryption in transit, access controls and monitoring for unusual activity. No system is perfectly secure, and we cannot promise that a breach will never happen.
- Passwords are stored hashed, not as plain text.
- Access to personal information inside HoneyGF is limited to people who need it for a defined job.
- If a breach affects you, we will tell you and the relevant authorities as the law that applies requires.
You have a part in this too. Use a password you do not reuse anywhere else, and tell us straight away if you think someone else has access to your account.
Children's privacy
HoneyGF is intended for people aged 20 and over, and it is not directed at minors.
- We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 20.
- Accounts are not offered to minors, and we ask you to confirm your age when you sign up.
- If you believe a minor has created an account, email support@honeygfai.com and we will remove the account and the information in it.
This matches the eligibility rule in our Terms of Service.
International transfers
HoneyGF runs online, and the providers we work with may process information in countries other than the one you live in. Those countries can have different data protection laws, and some offer less protection than yours.
When information crosses a border, our intention is to rely on a recognised transfer mechanism and to require the same protections we apply at home. Which mechanisms apply, and where our providers process data, will be confirmed and listed here before launch. If the country you live in requires a particular safeguard, check with us that it is in place.
Changes to this policy
This policy will change as the service does. When a change is material, we will tell you before it takes effect — by email, or with a clear notice in the product — and we will update the effective date at the top of this page.
If you keep using HoneyGF after a change takes effect, the updated version applies to you. If you do not agree with it, you can close your account first.
